I recently was elected president of the South Dakota Funeral Directors Association at the 111th annual convention held in Sioux Falls. I look forward to the upcoming year as the past president of the executive board of our association working on local and national issues that effect funeral homes in South Dakota to help better serve the families of our community. We had the opportunity to represent South Dakota at the National Convention in Chicago in October.
