Larry G. Peek, 61, died suddenly Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Pioneer Memorial Hospital, Viborg. Memorial services will be at 11:00am Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home, Parker with burial at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Larry G. Peek was born in Minnesota on March 18, 1947 to Harold and Myrtle (Skjegstad) Peek. After graduating from Nevis High School, Nevis, MN in 1965 he served in the US Army, having been stationed at NATO in Belgium. He attended Technical College in Detroit Lakes, MN and worked as a marine mechanic in Minnesota and Idaho. He lived in Minnesota, Idaho, California, Montana, and moved to South Dakota in 1999. On December 30, 1992 he was united in marriage to Patricia Hill Dulansky in Helena, MT. He worked for the Parks and Recreation Department for the City of Sioux Falls for five years. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Patricia; 2 children, Carrie (Tom) Mahana, Pequot Lakes, MN, and Brad Peek, Butte, MT; 2 step children, Corina Dulansky and Shane Dulansky, both in California; 5 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren; and 3 brothers and a sister, Mike (Patsy) Peek, West Windover, NV, Tim (Victoria) Peek, Dillon, MT, Steve Peek, East Helena, MT, and Teresa Spencer, East Helena, MT. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Dave and Kenny.
