Donald D. Langerock Donald “Don” Langerock, 88 died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Bethany Lutheran Home in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Heritage Funeral Home, Sioux Falls with burial at Rosehill Cemetery, Parker. Visitation with family present will be from 5-7pm Monday evening at Heritage Funeral Home. Arrangements by Hofmeister Jones Funeral Home. Donald Duane Langerock was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1929 at Parker, SD to Neal and Marjorie (Wiese) Langerock. After attending country school he attended Hurley High School where he played on the State B Tournament runner up basketball team of 1946, graduating in 1948. After serving in the US Army during the Korean War and being stationed in Korea, he attended Augustana College. On August 19, 1956 he was united in marriage to Roberta Clikeman at the First Presbyterian Church in Parker. After graduating from Augustana College in 1958 he was employed by the treasury department as an Internal Revenue Agent for 30 years until his retirement. Through out his life he always farmed and raised livestock, building a new home on the farm and moving near Parker in 1998. With his family being very important, he was a very generous man especially to his children and grandchildren who meant the world to him. In 2009 he lost his wife of 53 years Roberta and his son Kendall in 1999. Grateful for having shared his life are his daughter Cheri and her husband Larry Kraemer of Parker; two grandchildren Lucas and Kiera; and his sister Phyllis Montis of Sioux Falls.
