Larry was born April 20, 1947 to Lewis and Evelyn Larsen. On November 25, 1995 he married Victoria Kollars at the Spring Valley Lutheran Church, outside of Viborg.
As a young man he was a hardworking farmer who dedicated his life to the animals and the land. He served with the Army in the Vietnam War from September 27, 1966 - July 1, 1968. He then moved back to the Center Point area and was awarded Most Outstanding Young Farmer.
His pride and joy was traveling, dancing, fishing, and camping with his wife Victoria. They enjoyed many years making new friends in Texas, where Larry was the captain of the Table Tennis team. He also loved spending hours with his sons, stepchildren, and grandchildren laughing and giggling playing golf and other card games. Larry was the social king who was constantly cracking jokes.
